PC6600 Series Solder Stripping Systems

The PC6600 series solder stripping systems are designed to strip plated tin or tin lead printed circuit boards. Using a recirculated chemical spray technique, the panels are exposed to the various chemistries available which will efficiently remove the tin or tin-lead. This system is intended to solder strip, then passivate the surface for future processing but can also be used as a solder strip system only if an exothermic chemistry is used, sump cooling may be a necessary option.

This system is fabricated from PVC construction, but the chemistry should be specified to assure complete compatibility. Other Argus products related to the solder stripping system is the PC6120 Developer/Solder Stripper. This dual purpose machine may be used as an LPISM developer or solder stripping machine if passivation is not required. When used as a solder stripping system, the 6120 has more throughput than the PC6620 because all chambers are devoted to solder stripping.

Available Options

Sump Heating & Cooling: Provides the ability to heat or cool stripping solutions dependent on the desired application. Some solder stripping solutions are more active when heated, and others produce heat during the stripping process. This option provides ample heating or cooling of the sump chemistry.
