PC3100 Series Drying Systems

The PC3100 series conveyor ovens are for heating flat work traveling horizontally. The series includes 20 and 30 inch models. This series of machines is applicable for many types of processes including preheating, drying, curing, etc. The conveyor on this series machine is stainless steel mesh with inverted dimples to carry the workpiece above the general plane of the mesh. The conveyor is driven by a variable speed motor. The conveyor speed is indicated on the control panel by digital indicators. The work is heated by long wavelength infrared energy emitted from IR panels above and below the conveyor. These panels are fast response to compensate for quick variances in the work load.

The PC3100 allows the panel to enter the HASL system warm, this reduces the heat loading in the solder pot and can make some fluxes more active. Preheating of high-mass circuit boards enables increased HASL production by minimizing solder pot dwell times.

Electrical Service Requirements

Circuit Breaker service is 2-phase configuration with a good Ground.
